Founded in 2005 at Drexel University, PhillyCHI is an interdisciplinary group dedicated to advancing human-computer interaction and user experience as a professional discipline, and to building a community of UX professionals, students, and enthusiasts in Philly.

We hold monthly events on topics and trends in the industry, providing opportunities for our members to grow, connect, and engage with the local UX community.

Our events are open to anyone interested in HCI and UX – we welcome attendees from all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you are just starting your career, considering a career change, or have years of experience, PhillyCHI is a place for you. Our members include designers, researchers, strategists, developers, and engineers from a range of corporate, agency, academic and nonprofits of all sizes.

We provide programming and refreshments at all events, along with designated time for networking and for job-seekers to connect with hiring organizations.
